In memory of Jackie the bald eagle, I’m adding this 5x7" art print I created of Jackie & Shadow for my patrons last year & will be donating 25% of all the profits to Friends of Big Bear Valley to help support and rehabilitate eagles like her.
I’ve watched Jackie & Shadow often over the last 4 years, and watched them struggle and overcome obstacles through it all. I watched Jackie protect the eggs/chickies while covered in snow, watched them take care of each other, be silly together, and their baby chicks hatch.
Her resilience has been so inspiring, and she’ll be deeply missed by so many. I created this artwork out of love for them last year after they hatched Sunny and Gizmo, and so it feels fitting if it can help eagles like them. ❤️
